Year 3 are all enjoying our train trips from Newquay to Par this week.
We wore our pyjamas and onesies (like in the book The Polar Express) and we took the train from Newquay to Par to find out what it’s like on the train.
We met an exciting passenger at Quintrell Downs station and he stayed with us for the journey! He read us the story, sang carols on the train and gave us each a hot chocolate, a mince pie and a golden chocolate coin.
We even got to look inside the signal box at Par station. All the classes (3ST, 3BR and 3EC) have all had lovely trips and 3MR will be going tomorrow. We feel very Christmassy!
