As part of their science topic of classification, 6JD had a zoom call with zoologist Mark Norris and then visited Newquay Zoo. Whilst at the zoo, the children had the opportunity to study at first hand the key features of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians – seeing the animals in real-life definitely helped to strengthen their understanding of the topic.
