Newquay Junior took 3 teams to a recent football festival held at Newquay Treviglas school.
All 3 teams performed admirably on the day and the first team progressed to the final where they played Cubert Primary school.
Although they dominated the match they unluckily conceded a freak own goal and were unable to put the ball in the net to take the game to extra time. All the teams did us proud; representing the school with great spirit an impeccable behavior.
We didn’t come away empty handed either as we won £100 for the school by coming first in the skills test.
