Year 3 have been looking to their future and planning how to achieve their aspirations and wishes for the future. They have written letters to their future selves in Year 6 and sealed these, along with a recent photo of themselves… only to be reopened in their final week in Newquay Junior!
The letters have been buried by the pupils. In 4 years’ time (in 2021!) the pupils will dig them up again and reread them; comparing their hopes to their reality.
Pupils also presented a parents’ assembly about this project, along with some poignant songs to support the theme. The assembly was well received and the pupils felt very proud of their efforts.
