Newquay Education Trust (NET) is a Multi Academy Trust comprising of founding member schools Newquay Junior Academy and Newquay Tretherras.

The IT & Media Services Team are one of the first centralised services operating at Trust level across member sites.

The post holder will work as part of the central service team and operate from the Newquay Tretherras site.

From August / September the team are migrating what has historically been an Administrative Team “Reprographics” service in to its Media arm. The new service will still offer a basic reprographic photocopy and worksheet / booklet creation service, but will increasingly look to transform incoming jobs in to electronic screen and web resources instead of printed media – in an effort to save costs while also encouraging paperless working and the use of online platforms.

In addition to the basic service there will also be the opportunity for the post holder to assist in a number of internal design and publication tasks via its main Media arm. We take on specialist large format print tasks on various media and sizes up to 44inch wide. We also produce high quality Prospectus, brochures and newsletters on a regular basis, as well as liaison with external media agencies and press. We have access to semi-professional Xerox devices and Fiery solutions with production-level capabilities. Any interest or experience in these areas would be an advantage, but are not essential.

You will be supported and encouraged to progress, but it will be an expectation for you to excel. You must be able to plan and prioritise and work to deadlines.

We want someone enthusiastic and proactive who isn’t afraid to take their own initiative or share their own ideas.
