Newquay Junior Academy girls competed at Penryn on Friday in the English School’s Football Association seven-a-side open
They won all of their group games, scoring 15 goals and conceded none. In the semi-final they beat Penzance school Alverton 5-0.
In the final they met St Ives and the game went to extra time followed by penalties with NJA coming home 3-0.
A superb performance from the whole squad.
They will now represent Cornwall in the Southern Area Finals in Bristol next April.
