What a way to kick off the return of academy sporting events and competitions!
73 of our pupils from Year 5 and 6 put themselves out there to take part in the first of four Cross-Country races this year. This was a Newquay Sports Network (NSN) event which included all the local primary schools.
There were over 80 children entered in each race category. We had nine who finished within the top ten, four who finished in the ‘top three’ and Harrison who is in Year 5 took 1st place!
Our pupils did themselves and the academy proud.
