This weekend 4 boys and girls from Newquay Junior Academy competed at the 21st Primary Schools’ Team Relay Swimming Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.
The boys came 17th in the medley relay and the girls team came 7th in the freestyle relay and 9th in the medley relay.
We are incredibly proud of all the children involved, to compete at a National level is a huge achievement and the pupils will have taken many positives from the experience.
Thanks to the parents who supported the school in transporting the children to Sheffield, Newquay Cormorants swimming club for training the team and to Jason Ross for the great hoodies.
