Newquay Junior Academy Pegasus group, led by Mr A-J and Mr Curtis, joined Andy Wilkins, Treasurer of Duchy Allotments, in a scheme to create a wildflower area. The allotment holders want to attract pollinating insects into the area and our pupils were eager to help, having already designed and built their own Bug Mansion ,The Banshion, earlier this year.
They also helped out at Newquay Orchard who are also creating wildflower areas on their site as part of the Grow Wild Scheme.
