Reasons to Be Cheerful at Newquay Carnival

Children from Newquay Junior had great fun taking part in Newquay Carnival this Saturday! The NJA entry was based on Ian Dury’s classic 1979 song “Reasons to Be Cheerful” that pupils had changed to Reasons to Be Cheerful In Newquay! Pupils had made banners depicting something that made them happy. Parents and family came along too, bringing things that made that made them smile; items ranging from their family dogs to Beach flags.P1040310

Many other children from the academy appeared in the Carnival, representing their many out of school clubs. Pupils represented Brownies, Cubs, SLSC, Rugby, Football and Dance clubs.

It was a great evening for the whole Newquay community. NJA would like to thank Newquay Lions for their organisation of the event.
