Today the children from 6JD continued their outdoor learning. They went to the local beaches and looked at the rock formations, recalling their previous learning; they also modelled how erosion creates stacks in the sand. The class looked at the flora of the coast identifying thrift, valerian and tree mallow. The class also made some fabulous sand structures and explored the rock pools. In the afternoon, they used shells they had collected as the inspiration for some line drawings where they practised shading techniques.
