Newquay Junior Academy hosted a fantastic workshop for our choir members. Six singers from the world famous chamber choir, ‘The Sixteen’, came to our academy to deliver a songwriting workshop.
We were joined by four other schools from around the Newquay area who all participated in learning a couple of songs and then composing their parts to accompany the songs.
We were all treated to some excerpts of songs from The Sixteen chamber choir and were blown away by their talent. It was a fantastic opportuntiy for our budding choir members to observe professional singers and to see the awe on their faces.
