The Life Skills group invited two working dogs Caddy and Kiesha, also one retired working dog Ike and their owners Catriona and Joel to speak to the class. The children learnt how the dogs help their owners on a daily basis and how they were trained. The children also now understand not to distract or stroke the dogs when they are wearing their working harness or jacket. The dogs were let off their harness so the children could stroke and make a fuss of them. A valuable experience for all who attended to see these amazing animals up close and personal.
