The whole school enjoyed some active maths challenges for World Maths day. Year 3’s activities revolved around the Olympics and measuring length and time. We had to measure how far we could sprint in 12 seconds, and then measure how far we could Triple jump!
We used trundle wheels and metre sticks which was fun. We also learned that we have a lot of training to do if we are going to come anywhere near to qualifying for the 2028 Olympics when we’re 18!!
