In Year 3 this year we have already completed a range of tasks in ICT.

We used Scratch to write a simple program. We understand what a Sprite is and how to write commands for it to follow. We know how to use run, stop, loop and ‘if’ statements.
We compared ways of messaging and learned how to identify emails that are not for me. We learnt to collaborate using ICT and how to open and send emails safely and how to attach a piece of work.
We learnt that algorithms are a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations. We ‘debugged’ (found the error in) algorithms and rewrote the correct sequence (simple programming) using run/stop commands.
