Last week, Year Three carried out a range of experiments, investigations and learning activities to learn about plants.
We investigated the best colour to attract pollinators to petals, how water is transported within a plant (and how much force this takes!) and another long term investigation into the factors a plant needs for healthy growth. We had lots of fun using Science in Literacy and Maths lessons too. We also each planted a bean seed and we are watching them germinate.
We put all our learning into our Plants booklets and we love them. I hope you enjoy our pictures.
