Year 6 had a memorable day on Wednesday 11th November on our World War Two day. Both the children and staff made a fantastic effort with costumes and all certainly looked the part. The children were able to take part in a variety of activities throughout the day including drama, singing, dancing, cooking and arts and craft. At 11:00am, they took part in a two minute silence to remember the veterans who have fought for our country in war. To end the day, Year 6 were invited to a victory tea party to celebrate the end of the war where they danced, sang and enjoyed food which was prepared by them earlier in the day. A jolly good time was had by all!
