Music at Newquay Junior Academy has got off to a great start this term. Pupils who have signed up to the Rocksteady programme have started to learn to play some pop songs in their very own bands with a choice of drums, keyboards, electric guitar, bass guitar or vocals. As well learning new musical skills, lessons are also aimed at boosting children’s confidence, wellbeing, social skills, and teamwork. We are hoping for great things from our NJA Rockstars and hope they remember us when they are famous!
