World Book Day, 2024 saw us celebrating with a range of activities!
We welcomed back Reading Rocks who managed a Book Fair for us and Newquay Primary Academy, we had The Masked Reader, where pupils guessed which member of staff was behind the author 'mask' and we had Staff Speed Reading, where our teachers moved around the classes, reading aloud and continuing a story!
We were absolutely blown away with our 'Book in a Jar' competition, children created a jar which depicted their favourite book and then they had to 'Sell' their story to the class-we are hoping that we are able to keep some of these to display in the library!
